Welcome to the next chapter in your journey! This program is about enriching your life through harnessing the innate power you already possess. Immerse yourself in yoga practice and explore the full spectrum of what it has to offer; physically, mentally and spiritually. Discover the nature of yogic practice as deeply transformational, revealing hidden patterns in the body, breath and mind. You will simultaneously earn your 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certificate (200 RYT), and be able to register with Yoga Alliance, if you wish to be a yoga teacher at any point on your journey.

Brenda Schoeneman, herself an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, E-RYT 500 (click here to learn more about teacher credentials), created and designed this training to empower you on and off the mat. Brenda has cultivated an environment that is nurturing, inspiring and empowering. Through deep connections, personalized mentorship, and experiential learning you will receive the education, mindful tools, and hands-on experience to serve what matters most to you. This comprehensive training is creatively designed to include asana practice, meditation, practical anatomy, philosophy, skillful sequencing, discovering your authentic voice, and interpersonal work. The training will be led by Brenda Schoeneman and a dynamic team of specially selected guest teachers.
This program requires your full commitment; commitment not only to dig deep into self-inquiry and study, but also to harness your potential! Our time together in this program asks for your active participation in our community. You must be able to fulfill all of the requirements to complete your certification. You will leave this training with a lifelong community and the confidence to safely teach and awaken your own teacher within.

Attendance at 100% of scheduled training or written approval from Lead Teacher
Individual study between scheduled trainings (including assigned online study)
Submit all assigned homework, which will be drawn from a provided reading list
Complete relevant sadhanas (personal practices)
A commitment to personal growth
A desire to inspire yourself and others
Complete Practicum of teaching a community class at YOGA-B-YOGA
Complete the assessment that will be given at the completion of the 200 hours

Brenda is the founder of YOGA-B-YOGA and she is known for her inspirational teaching style. Students appreciate her unique ability to infuse her classes with yoga philosophy, conscientious alignment, and heart-felt humor.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Brenda earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. For 10 years, she developed and facilitated training in corporate Leadership & Professional Development. With the intention to integrate teaching yoga into her corporate job, she completed Yoga Teacher Training in Denver, Colorado. As a lifelong student, she honors all who she has crossed paths with, as everyone is a teacher and there’s a lesson in everything.
