Join Licensed Acupuncturist, Krista Essler and 500hr Certified Yoga Teacher, Brenda Schoeneman, for this experience to boost your immunity and overall well-being!

Acupuncture is a 3000-year-old system of traditional medicine that originates from China. Very thin needles are inserted along the energetic Meridians of the body at specific points. When stimulated, the points trigger the body to balance the nervous system and restore healthy energy flow.

Join us as we combine these two ancient and very powerful health systems on body, mind and spirit. This 90min class will lean into Summer energizing the Heart & Spirit .

As Summer nears, we move into the Heart energy. This is an active or Yang energy. Brenda will guide you through a carefully curated sequence of poses with a focus on energizing the heart and spirit and ending in relaxation. Once you are settled into guided rest, Krista will administer acupuncture to enhance the effects, by further opening the corresponding meridians. The third eye will be stimulated using Aroma Acupoint Therapy. Next, four needles, one on each limb, will be inserted within a hand width of the wrist and ankle. Together they prepare for the coming dynamic season by regulating the channels to calm the spirit and clear excess heat.

Yoga and acupuncture together can be our greatest tools in supporting healing and keeping all our body’s systems working optimally. By cultivating balance in our body and its systems, we can support, nourish, strengthen and build our health, immunity, energy and overall quality of life.

Time: 10:30am-12:00pm (*Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive by 10:15am to sign the acupuncture waivers and settle in.)

Cost: $55 (Space is limited, pre-registration required) *Note: an average 30min acupuncture session is $75

What to wear: Dress comfortably in loose, comfortable clothing and pants that pull up to the knee. If you run cold, you may like to wear a zip up/cardigan that keeps your arms covered yet still offers opening to front of torso.
